IS (Openweb) account cannot access gmail pop/smtp

Is anyone else having this problem? I cannot connect to gmail's pop/smtp (pop.gmail.com:995 and smtp.gmail.com:465) via my openweb (IS) account but if I switch to my SAIX account it works fine.

Why won't the IS account access gmail???? :confused:

We have logged a fault with IS and will respond with the result as soon as it is received.

Works for me to, though international just died completely.

Yep it normally works fine but not at the time I logged this error. The weird thing was that the SAIX connection worked perfectly while the IS connection refused to connect to gmail at all, no matter what type of proxy setting (or not) I used. This problem went away when I retried later that same day.

This is the type of unreliability I've come to expect from IS... :(

Are you maybe already capped for international?

Is IS having international problems?

Don't blame OpenWeb, they are just reselling the IS account. All ISPs that are also reselling the IS account are in the SAME position !!!!!

I blame IS not OpenWeb! I've found OpenWeb's support to be very good and they go out of their way to help where they can.
 
Same issues with IS, not Openweb user though..Hotmail, Yahoo will not send mails but can view them :(
