Hey Friends

I have received numerous reports that IS users are experiencing extremely low speeds to local addresses.

It would appear that the IS - SAIX peering link is extremely congested, thus IS users are experiencing difficulties accessing sites on the SAIX network.

Although I haven't received official word from IS yet, I have lodged a complaint, and will keep this thread updated with any news received.

Thank-you for your patience whilst we support a network trying to make a difference.

Kind regards
MrBEEP

yep... business adsl is totally unuseable!

I almost feel like demanding that IS allow pppoe through the router so i can dial up a backup saix account during congested times!

%!%#@!@

It seems to have been congested since Sunday ??? (My local started acting up at about that time...)

It really is an unacceptable situation where telkom sit there like a dark spider in the background - controlling all the bits and bytes. :(

are there no grounds for a complaint to icasa? i know IS should do this but if they havent done anything (or let their customers know that they have) then we should try!
