Hi Anyone got problems with local access with an IS account ?

I can't do #@$@ on my IS account locally. I reached 5GB and everything stopped there. Local games is 4000 + pings & can't browse...

I got a NEXUS ISP account and everything works 100%...

Well I canceled my IS account today and got a saix account. Been waiting for IS to sort our their problems since last year October. I can only wait so long.
IS seems to be just like telkom when it comes to playing the blame game and using the same excuses as telkom.
 
also having same trouble with my openweb/is account, but the funny thing an other uncapped IS account (not openweb) is working fine.

openweb/is - local/int/news surfing sucks

IS - local/int/new all perfect

Any thing from your side mrbeep?
 
Are you sure both IS accounts is capped?

I assume your openweb one is capped, there is issues with capped accounts locally still :/

Internet Solutions are aware of the problem. It is a Telkom ESR problem that is currently being addresses. Due to the fact that the Uncapped ADSL works on a different route, it will more than likely not be affected.

I just got off the line with an IS Engineer, and they are working on this problem full steam ahead.

I am experiencing problems with International traffic on OpenWeb (since a few minutes ago), but local seems fine.
 
i've got 2 account, both IS. one via openweb other straight IS.... seems there's a problem with the openweb aftercapped surfing part

edit:

all seems fine now, back to normal since 9pm
 
oh...

I only started using Openweb yesterday and I'm nowhere near capped yet. Anyway, seems Int. is working again. :cool:
 
I cant browse, use e-mail, no online games, no Team Speak, torrents at 1k/s

On telkom account works all 100%

O I'm capped int. looks we not getting our 30gigs of local, I will wait till monday lets see...
 
Will wait till monday. IS still screwed then i'll rather get one of them web africa accounts to rape..

What kind of webafrica account?? They are IS as well?

you guys having problems browsing internationaly on a i.s account via openweb openrouter proxy ? cant get into steam either
my int is capped today , can browse local

IS has been on and off for me all day- i mean the whole network- local and int!

ATM openrouter is still working fine for me...
 
:) hmmm , beacuse i got openrouter running and all
can browse some int sites , not google thou or steam account , i have put the settings in firefox
anything im missing something ?
I.s becoming like saix now lol
 
You closed all ur firewalls? COs openrouter does not play nicely with walls...

Have u tried good old IE? Cos that seems to work the best for me...Dont even have to change any settings...
 
um yeah running a firewall , ie is ok , seems to be faster
would like steam to work thou :)
