IS Services all the same??

I am wondering if all IS services is the same. For example is the shaping the same even if its with different ISP's? eg: ISP A and ISP B both get their connection through IS, so they both shape the same? (unless of course the ISP themselves apply more shaping.)

yes they go though IS, so IS shape them.

though some guys do pull like 300gig on IS accounts, not sure how , some guys get throttle like at 20gb

Well what im wondering, is Afrihost 384 uncapped and Mweb 384 uncapped shaped exactly the same? They both work through IS.

mweb dont work though IS, as they dont throttle for the amount downloaded

Capped IS accounts are brilliant. Uncapped accounts are brilliant 75% of the time.

Im one of the poor souls who got throttled at 20GB.
Then my download speed went from 40kbps to 10kbps. Now they applied the max throttle which is like 2-3kbps download speed.
I dono if I should change to Capped again.
I pay R310 for 5 Gigs and the line. And the moment I exceed 5Gig they phone me and tell me that Im capped (My ISP that is). Now I downloaded 20 Gig and NOW they throttled me.
Its basically 5 Gigs vs 20 Gigs. (Internationally that is). HOW do all the peeps clock 200-300 gigs a month? I dont get it either...
I think Uncapped is still a good choice. Altho its stupid ridicules and frustrating.
