I had to say that. I purchased a 1GB Axxess voucher yesterday just to test it out again. OMG are things slow right now and I'm talking local sites...
 
I feel that way about SAIX right now... latency to the UK is at 800ms -.-' Makes playing online unbearable...

I want my IS back :(
 
Im using both IS and SAIX unshaped, the latency is about equal 400-550 ish but i get loads of spikes on IS :/
 
I am using IS at a few sites and no real issues - it also depends on the dslam you connecting to at your exchange.

:confused: C'mon, that's hogwash. If ISP A & B works fine but ISP C is slow then htf is the dslam the problem?

Ive dones some further testing now, both IS and SAIX give me 350-370KBps when downloading from international sites, but when im playing overseas servers like WoW, SAIX is much more stable atm getting insane spikes on IS when raiding
 
So there you have it folks. In depth research suggests that IS is on par with SAIX except when you are raiding in World of Warcraft
 
Thats my personal experience from using IS and SAIX not ''in depth research''.

I'm quite fond of IS. I've had more problems with SAIX and with IS my latency is usually excellent (280-350ms) in EverQuest II...

At the moment on a SAIX prepaid 1GB account (could you believe I bought the wrong one? :p), my latency is between 500-800ms -.-' Not fun.

I think they both have their ups and their downs. I'll stick to IS for as long as I can though. A bit less support for Telkom :p

When IS is good, it's great. When it's bad it's tragic.
 
IS at the moment is pretty useless for international sites. I just keep getting "Waiting for www.xyz.com" while the wheel spins.
