Just curious, but who actually uses the stuff that they download when they d/l as much as 2-3Gb a day?

Don't get me wrong I've been sucking the web pretty dry for a while now, In fact ever since we got it in SA, but my point is -

How many of the 40 Gb of MP3's do I really listen to?
How many of the games do I play to completion? Somehow It's just not the same when I can just d/load the next one for free as soon as this one I'm on starts getting difficult/ boring or in some other way looses it's appeal?

How many of those wicked sounding apps didn't quite do what I wanted, so I just d/loaded a similar one only to be dissatisfied again.

How many of thoses 4.5Gb DVD rips will I ever watch more than once, assuming that they were even of decent quality in the first place?

You get the picture, I'm sure.

Personally I don't believe that the cap will have too much of an affect on most users, it's only us bandwidth addicts that are gonna go through withdrawl symptoms.

Most of us would have slowed down by now if it were'nt for the fact that we knew this day was coming. Sort of a 'I'm gonna milk it 4 what it's worth' attitude.

But DAMN IT! I should be able to download what I want, when I want!!!

OK so I'm rambling, essentially what I'm saying though is:

The cap is realistically not that bad, but I just don't like being told that I cant have what I want!

Sound about right?

shut up, it is bad, we are now back to 3rd world status, even if you dont download files or whatever its taking somethign away from you, gamers can't game and expect to surf for a whole month, web masters and people in that area have to work on thier machien and upload final pieces instead of being able to work on remote servers, peopel who watch streaming tv or listen to radio stations cant afford to do that and surf for a month, if you dont see anythign wrong with this then perhaps its time you got ISDN

you sound like a raving lunatic man! get a grip.
decide if you are for or against
if you are for capping, i feel sorry for you becuase then the pigs have won

against, totally against, i have never been this messed up over anythign related to internet/computers ever, i am emotionally involved, PLEASE DONT CAP ME WBS

heh btw why are we talkign about the exact same thing to each other in liek 4 threads, i know you're feeling it too

We never left 3rd world status! I never said I liked the idea, I just think that you should look at things from more angles than just being upset because you can't have something that somebody else can!

Yes we should complain, Yes we should fight. Yes It would be fantastic to have an uncapped T1 connection in my bedroom!

What I am saying is look on the bright side, enjoy what you do have while CONSTRUCTIVELY fighting to get more.

Winging about being depressed on a forum is not going to help.

30GB cap would be great, and im sure many won't even finish it. Its not like iburst will be upset or anything, actually it will make there be more competition. Well, don't think there would be completion then, iburst would win, hands down
