Is the "Hulk promotion" capped

Hi everyone I signed up on sunday 26/6/2011 for the hulk promotion I asked the salesman if this was a capped product but I see theres mention of out of bundle rates. I really hope this is a capped package can anyone confirm what is the correct info ?

Doubt it will be capped. But unsure of what options you have in terms of the account settings. Just don't go over your cap !! OOB is actually not that bad it seems 30c Per MB according to the website.
8ta rep will probably clear it up for you.

While you are browsing and you have reached your data limit, you will get an “Out of Bundle” notice on your browser.
From here you will have two options (for Internet 5 Promo):
1. Choose to surf out of Bundle rates (You will be charged R 0.30 per MB)
2. Purchase a Once-Off Internet Bundle from your credit limit.

Once your data is finished your internet will stop, if you then go to your internet browser it will redirect towards the 8ta website where it will give you the options of going out of bundle, buying data bundles or doing nothing. So no nasty surprises

sounds pretty good. amazing that 8ta can cap you but the other mobile vendors can't.

This is what what Vodacom and MTN need to do. Love this. May get 8ta just because usage can be controlled well, even though I already have a CellC prepaid sim.

My vodacom is capped.. so once i reach my limit.. it stops working.. i then need to recharge with pre paid. They did ask me 18 months ago if I wanted it to be capped on my contract.. as for MTN.. no idea..

Only vodacom prepaid is capped, their normal contracts are not. If you reached you cap you will go OOB @ R1.2/m.

The normal 8ta voice contracts (with 25 MB data) works in the same way - except that you have an extra option of browsing at low speeds for a while. It's quite comforting to know that I'm not going to get a very huge out of bundle bill at the end of the month.
