hi guys,
is there anyway one can queue the download of torrents for when you are away for the weekend?
i'm talking of software that will let me get torrents one at a time and when that is done, queue another one.
i have a 384 line. if i get them all in one go, maybe 4 or so..takes forever.

thanks!

Yes there is a way. Would help though if you said what you are using. :)

Lets say you are using uTorrent, go to options ---> preferences ---> Queueing

On the right you will see maximum number of downloads. Just put "1" if you only want to download one at a time.

+1 just load as many as you want and set maximum at any time to 1 or 2, the rest will queue

yea, I do the same. Let 2 torrents download at a time, and cue the rest. you can arrange which torrents must download in order by selecting the torrent, and pressing Cntrl+ALT and up/down arrow in uTorrent. it's also good to restrict your upload speed to around 3 - 5kbs as I find that if you set it to 0, the upload tends to slow the download speed down a touch! - I prefer 3!

uttorent has a built in scheduler too. So you select the weekend only and bobs your auntie...

yeah ?
im new to torrents so i wil take all the advice i can get..
is it user friendly for first timers like me ?
