That is probably a good price, but I won't buy the previous generation of Intel stuff now.

The other issue that I have is that they bundle a lot of stuff that I would rather buy separate: screen, mouse, keyboard & headphones.

Graphics card is not very good, you should spec a new pc and see what the difference would be.

It's the screen that will be ramping up the price in that rig. That screen - after the wonderful new tax...- retails for around 3.5K.

Rather get a cheaper screen and build a rig from scratch. Will be cheaper guaranteed.
