Or is he just sticking it to the man? From the takealot vouchers thread:

Will provide 10x free sample accounts of my service to the first person who PMs me.

Copying and pasting the general idea:
Hey bud,

So the general idea is to have premade accounts that are ready to receive vouchers during the drops. These accounts are made en masse in what are called farms. These farms simply forward emails received from Takealot that include a voucher to either your main email address or a Gmail account of your choosing that I will create for you.

The more accounts in your farm, the higher the chances of you getting multiple codes to use like we saw this week with many people getting R500 off R1000 vouchers.

Features include:
- Fully automated, you pay and start receiving accounts immediately via email to your main email or a provided Gmail account.
- Choose whether you want to be subscribed to the General Newsletter to boost chances of getting a code.
- Accounts are generated using CGNAT ranges on Vodacom and MTN IP pools to ensure no shadowbanning.

If you're interested in this, let me know.

Kind regards,
W

LMAO just make your own.
Add +1 +2 +3.... +100 to your Gmail address and re-register
Is it amateur hour here?
Oh it’s pretty easy to automate, even.

Just interested in how people view the ethics of it.

It's a exploit, and it is up to Takealot to close. They are probably well aware that the 'technique' is being used, but it up to them to determine whether it is abuse or not. Users have had multiple accounts with them since they had promotional vouchers (or discount coupons).

Do I use the exploit, no.

What's the point of getting so many discount vouchers ? I used to three gmail accounts per month and that was enough vouchers for me.
