MTN 808 tells you you have data available that is only 2 - 24 hours out of date when in actual fact it is up to 16 days out of date on the contract platform. Is this FALSE ADVERTISING to try to force you to go out of bundle?
I did not use my data card for about 15 days - then got recorded updates from 808 operators, all of whom were informed that the conversations were being recorded for legal and publication purposes.
I then had 1,8 Gig available.
I then used 1,7 Gig over 16 days on purpose. (Then stopped using so I didnt shoot myself in the foot.)
I still had 1,8 Gig available according to MTN 808 for 16 days after I started using the data.
According to the consumer protection act of 2008 - they now owe me 1,8 Gigs of data extra which they never credited me with.
Trying to get them to move me to the top up platform - 104 days and counting....
