I went to http://www.labour.gov.za/ to register my domestic helper with unemployment insurance but I get a suspicious looking page in which the URL changes etc.

I am obviously reticent to enter ID numbers, credit card details etc.

I don’t know enough about IT to be sure and emailed the webmaster but have not received any answer yet.

Should I be suspicious?:

I include a copy of the page…. well, ok I admit it I'm to stupid to do it so here is the URL instead: :D http://www.labour.gov.za/online_services/index.jsp

You should also tell the webmaster that his security certificates expired in 2005.

It looks very suspicious indeed, but then again it's government. I would bargain more on their incompetence rather than some hacking going on.

Regardless, i wouldn't give CC or ID details via that site. Simply on principle that if they haven't renewed their security certificates in TWO years and haven't noticed the big security popup you get...then i don't want to know where your details will end up......

Looks more like the new paperless form of "eish we lost your form" .

Did anyone also get This page?
In our continued efforts to improve service delivery to clients, the Fund has temporarily closed down this site/page for maintenance.

i dont trust that IP in the URL at all.
