There's an attachment but not too sure if it is a good idea to open it?

If you have to ask if it's legit, it's usually not.

And how do you get a job without even going for an interview? Or did you go for an interview and you get an impersonal email like this instead of a phone call to say congratulations?

A friend of mine was very excited when he applied for a position overseas and it seemed that he got it.

Turned out a 3rd party was pretending to offer jobs. You pay to register for the job and you never see your money again. Dangerous stuff.

These scammers are so easy to spot. I just go through the email with a fine tooth grammar and spelling comb. I spotted at least 4 obvious errors that a professional company would not make.

After that, it is all about the tone of the email. That tone sounds pressuring and forceful. If you ever read something that sounds like it is Guilting you/Pressuring you or manipulating you into clicking on something. Delete it.

Do you have to pay to get a job? Then it's not legit.

Obviously you don't read professional emails.

I spotted the spelling and grammatical errors. What bugs me is how do they know that I'm in the job market?

Had a similar email, but it was actually legit, I even went to their recruitment agency in town to check although I never got the job apparently after dropping off my CV was the perfect job :(.

Not sure how they got my email though or knew what I was qualified and interested in.

No I've read many professional emails and it's clear education in general is lacking.

One of the older scams, albeit with a new twist. They offer you a job, no doubt the app form will ask for strong personal details, then they use it to pilfer your accounts, etc.

I will never fill in details om a form, if said form is not pre-aranged with me, or handed to me in person.
