Is this legitimate?

What do you mean, that is legit and also when you complete your online details you become eligible for amazing prizes. So far I've won $100'000'000 in the Kazakhstan lottery and once my R20'000 admin fee has been processed I can collect my prize money in person from Borat!!!

no you didn't - i won it!

The banks will NEVER send you an email asking you to verify your details, NEVER!

When you sign up for internet banking they also warn you about this.

The first sign is always the email address which is normally a hotmail/gmail/ymail account!

Interestingly enough, when I try to respond to this particular email, it give no address ... just a blank "TO:" block.

and what about links inside the email? possible links which appear to be to standardbank?

Frequenting this forum, having a high post count and not knowing what fake phishing emails are all about will lead to being beached from the IT gene pool

Hahaha! :D

This reminds me of that woman who also "won" a ke-zillion pounds and then she had to pay this and that into some accounts, fly over to London to collect the prize ect. At the end of the day, after spending R1m, she realized it was a scam :D Such people deserve that, I mean, how the hell can one person be SO stupid?!
