maybe it's time to underclock your gfx card, just to be certain

gfx is always a bit hot. Its fine...they are design to handle more heat than the cpu.

Was reading up on this, according to some people thier 9600GT & 8800GT's with Single slot coolers would hit 80°C - 90°C while gaming/benching ect. and artifacting/Crashes are not un-common.

Why? the card's fan was stuck at 29%

Try using Rivatuner and push it up to 40%-60% give it a try

lol, my lil x1600 pro run's at 30 degree's, now i'm cooler then you, and I can't even play crysis! lol...
