Is this Software Legal??

Who cares? It's cheap :D well in dollar terms anyway. :D and since when has legalities every stopped the download of good software :D

I highly doubt it... but it depends what you mean by "legal"

1) If it is indeed legitimate OEM software (unlikely even at that price), then it will still fail on License terms since the Software makers specify it is only to be sold along with hardware. So it is therefore in violation of license terms.

2) If it is not really OEM software, but the website is just labelling warez as OEM (which I suspect is what is happening), then yes it is probably illegal. But it would be up to the Software makers again to press criminal and civil charges.

Either way... it is most likely "illegal" and unlicensed software. I would suspect that everyone gets the same installation key along with some nice keygen or crack files.

Flagfox tells me the website is in China. Enough said..

Its definitely illegal, most companies don't allow the sale of second hand software so I doubt it was bought on auction. If the company did allow you to sell second hand, then you would have to sell everything, box, serial number CD etc.

1. Why does your software is cheaper then the original software?

That’s all because we offer only copies of license versions.
This mean that you will not receive any printed documents (license or instruction) - just files and instruction in notepad’s format, any special packages and will not be able to register this software online. All updates (for most of the software) are available for you. The software that we sell is bought primarily at the auctions and from the companies that have run out of business.

lol - from the FAQ

I think I saw all those software titles cheaper on torrentreactor

Why do you think this site is not legit?

99 dolla for vista and 999 dolla for cs4 sounds about right to me.

original equipment manufacturer = OEM

Beside referring to manufacturers, OEM can be used as an adjective to describe software licensed only for a particular system. OEM software is purchased alongside a system or hardware parts. Certain OEM programs have limited functionality, but most do not. OEM software is often cheaper than the full versions but not as cheap as academic or student editions.

OEM hardware is hardware packaged for computer administrator and builder use. These products are normally plain boxed and often don't come with any instructions or references provided in retail packages. Technical support for such "OEM products" is usually the responsibility of the reseller, rather than of the manufacturer.

Send Adobe Support an email, and ask them if you buy from that website, would you be able to download updates, and is it legal software? Obviously the OEM will not send you crack.exe file with the package will they?

You can sell OEM software with any hardware these days, so if they include a screw for your PC chassis, licencing fees are met.
