Is This True Bout Afrihost

I'd had enough of AH bull$ connection yesterday and ordered a cancellation.

Even telkom are looking better than AH right now.

I think it's up to the individual to decide if the product works for him, don't you? He's asking about the the product and I'm giving him a chance to give it a try. I don't think this needs to be over-analysed :(

Sure ... it is up to the individual, however your eagerness to get people signed up when your product is faulty says a lot about your company values (in my humble opinion). More importantly, the person asked the forum for real life feedback about Afrihost and shaping on capped products ... he did not ask for a sales pitch and nor should it have been treated as a sales opportunity.

And it's not about over analysing things my friend ... it's about being called out for trying to sell a product when you know its faulty.

You blow AH's horn far too much,

Shoot me :)

When they give me bad service - I bitch like a demon and go ballistic.

When it works its good for me ... No starts to worry about, account sharing, soft cap limits ...

Guy asked for opinion, I offered mine. Sorry that its different to yours.

Don't be sorry for having a different opinion to mine, there is nothing to be sorry about. I was just noting the manner in which you repeatedly expressed of your opinion. Even AH's basic uncapped offering is good, I love it when it works and the shaping policy on P2P and downloads barely affects me (the free turbo charge hours are awesome). I wouldn't go so far as calling it the best value for money, I am after all saving money next month due to moving to a different ISP (lets see how that works out...).

I would probably have kept AH if it wasn't for my concerns regarding AH's integrity and their rep's responses to my concerns have aggravated them rather that calmed them. Being honest about something like how support tickets are answered builds a perception of integrity rather than eroding it, when I can trust AH to tell the truth (or even answer the question instead of avoiding it) when asked a difficult question then I can very easily forgive the mistakes they make.

A great product alone is not enough when you can't trust the service provider to be honest.
