IS This what were looking for ?

I really hope so, they have really abused the situation now.

I used the Internet once but then my sitffy drive broke.

not so remember the minutes of that meeting are not finalised and sentech released this on there own with no imput from anyone we can now release in our own time any information we see in the public intrest and relating to how bad the service is and how they dont have a fcking clue about contention bw management and that it has come to our attention from a trusted source and tests seem to confirm the entire service has been alocated 8Mbs and of that 2Mbs is international bandwidth [not discused or raised on sat] and that the entire system is dependant on IS ...

inside leaks indicate cacelations in there hundreds and a net decline in subscribers ...

the press will listen there is plenty unspent ammo in our war chest ...

F*UCK them up CUG!

I was optimistic that Sentech were approaching this issue with honesty and were trying to find a way forward. This is not the case, they have consistently misled their customers and now they have blatantly disregarded an agreement with the CUG.

There is no hope. Cancel now.

Cancelling....

Hell, my gran on a scooter with a memory stick is faster than Sentech's MyWireless!

We thought it was crappy before we found out all the facts. But as things stand now, it's a whole lot better than the Sentech service.

It kills me to recommend Telkom as an alternative to Sentech, but the fact is that the quality of service is a heck of a lot better than Sentech's at this time. Pity about the cap and the shaping, but other than that, speed and reliability is excellent. You can scan myadsl and you don't very often see anyone complaining about anything except price and cap.

I really hoped that Sentech would be the light at the end of our tunnel, but it looks like they have learned their ethics from Telkom itself. Sad, very sad.

United we stand!

It is indeed a sad day when one has to recommend the products of Telkom above a competitor but overall (judging from the Sentech users stories) Telkom is offering a better option. I'm on ADSL and apart from the ridiculous cap, the price and the fact that my usage statistics got screwed up last month, it does seem that I'm getting a better service which is beyond sad.

This isn't based on any kind official press information from the CUG or Sentech.

Did you READ that press release? Biased towards Sentech indeed. Even if you said what you said, it was taken out of context because local/international was not mentioned in that article.

Hell, my gran on a scooter with a memory stick is faster than Sentech's MyWireless!

It should be clear for all why we the CUG have been tightlipped. We have been waiting for Sentech to make the first move. If this is their handywork, it was a bad move to make (and honestly we expected it).
The CUG is working on a response.
