I currently have 512 Uncapped Fibre ADSL with IS. Over the last week the amount of international packet loss has been unacceptable.

Trace route to a European server:

From what I understand, the link is supposed to be on the SAT cable?

I dont know if anyone on these forums uses this product from IS, but if you do, please let me know if you having similar problems.

Thanks

I tried running a tracert to that server and had similar problems over 1MB IS uncapped satellite.

I used to have the satellite connection, but the whole reason I changed was because of the high latency and packetloss. 2 weeks ago my pings to that same server were 250ms on the fibre connetion. The problem is that IS have confirmed that I am still on the fibre link =/

/shrug

Well my pings to that server are around 2000ms so it could be worse. :D

well... i somehow doubt i'm routing via fiber... but IS is DAMN slow today!. I'm getting better speeds on dialup!. What's going on!??!???!???!!

My speeds are fine, latency's just not great. What IS account are you using?

uncapped 384k. speed seems to be better... but this usually changes during the day...
