Some local content seems to drag but sometimes quick. Anything international takes sometimes up to 6 minutes to open if it doesnt time out

My Fast torrents that usually fly are currently going at 0kbs however sometimes it notches up to 2kbs before falling back again!!!

Anybody?
 
ya mine is really bad hey... myspace takes like a minute to get to each age :(
 
I'm not even on ADSL (using vodacom 3g) and it's terrible. Was getting "gateway timeout" on some sites for a while and this forum has even been unable to load pages on a few occasions, requiring me to reload a few times.

Maybe there's some peering issues somewhere?
 
i dont understand.. torrents go at 300K.. pages time out everytime :(
 
Was downloading KDE for my Kubuntu at near full speeds on my local only account last night.
 
Did ping to googel and got 232ms. Cnn or any other site in the us 100% packt loss. UK seems to be fine. Only getting like 12k on my torrents. On Openweb Uncapped

.................. i started downloading the latest nero this morning, I'm still downloading, only at 5%!!!!!!!!! Torrents are still sitting at 0kbs, sometimes jumps up to 3 or 4kbs but goes down again.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON 'IS'!!!! This is now 3 - 4 days of pathetic speeds, page timeouts, and its not just international (although the slowest), local is also slow!!!!

The IS uncapped fixed IP over sat has been very dissapointing for the past few weeks. International sucks in general.
 
I did a tracert into IS from my telkom account. Seems that the local peering links from Telkom was affected as well. Even other peers like datapro that peers through the same exchange was affected.
