They are all almost the same, rubbish!Yes. With Beame. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Support is non-existent. Some months there's a debit order and most months there aren't and I have pay the invoice myself. Impossible to sort out.
I got it because my insurance back then required a tracker to be installed.
Yeah, a friend of mine's 320D got stolen and he got a VW Polo back. Not sure if it was worse or not.No, never had one. I don't want my car back if it gets stolen. Stolen cars are never the same again if you do get them back.
Why does everyone assume it's for the car's benefit, what about the occupants? I also don't want my banged up car back..
My insurance does not require one, so it's for my personal benefit i.e. if car gets hijacked with occupants inside.
It's R120/month/car, and I can track the vehicles online, we live in South Africa after all.
Too many scary scenarios still. They hijack you with the car to make sure you don't alert your tracking company. They have devices to disable the tracker. God forbid, they shoot while hijacking you.Why does everyone assume it's for the car's benefit, what about the occupants? I also don't want my banged up car back..

Yeah, I prefer to not work with assumptions.Hijackers generally eject everyone from the car before they take it. Why would they want the hassle of hostages on top of stealing a car that they really just want to sell as soon as they can?
Still, it might save your life or a family member, worth a shot right?Too many scary scenarios still. They hijack you with the car to make sure you don't alert your tracking company. They have devices to disable the tracker. God forbid, they shoot while hijacking you.
It is just the luck of the draw.
The last sentence of my post alludes to exactly that... you could be lucky on the day.Still, it might save your life or a family member, worth a shot right?
No. Hilariously, for me, King Price without a tracker is cheaper than King Price plus a tracker less the tracker discount.
Criminals just jam the tracker either way, Besides why would you want to be tracked by rotten employees who sell your information and whereabouts to criminals? There is literally no need for a tracker unless you use it for fleet services. But for personal use its useless. Why does everyone assume it's for the car's benefit, what about the occupants? I also don't want my banged up car back..

It's called a soup kitchen:No, cause why would i want it back. I mean they could have done whatever in it and then i should be happy that "i got my own back"
