Is your credit record clean?

Ok - sorted - I now have my credit report...
They have my address going back to 1997,
My occupation going back to 2003 with one position incorrect...
No AKA names...
Work phone numbers back to 2004
Home phone numbers back to 2003
Current cell no.
Total number of accounts and their value,
Total number of enquiries,
No judgements, notices, notarial bonds,
No default data, no trace alerts, no miscellaneous,
Some account history, mainly cell c, mtn, nashua mobile, something I don't recognise, bank including opening balances, current balances and monthly installments.
Interesting thing is that the home loan doesn't feature, only some insurance features, no life insurance or retirement stuff, mostly no data or payments...
I must admit, I am totally boring to look at from this pov! :D

Oh... and there is an "Opt Out" button to use... not sure what it does :D:D

Update: Support told me to ask switchboard for the admin dept. I phoned and they told me I need to fax through proof of residence and ID doc for Fica... I am doing that now.

Sounds like the free report is nothing more than a way for them to update their data.

WTF does a credit union have to do with FICA ......... sounds like a load of bull, but then again I write my name with an eraser.

Credit Health

www.*** offers on line credit checks for a fee of R49 which can be paid by credit card. However, after completing my credit card transaction, which went through to the bank, I discovered that the site does not work. The contact numbers given do not work and the physical address given (112 Jan smuts av) is not “Credit Health”. I have now lost R49 and had to cancel my credit card for fear of fraud due to Credit Health” which will cost me more to replace.

From the site: “Credit Health is headed by Michael Bouchier CA(SA), a CA and member of SAICA, registration number 00033319“ I validated that this reg number is Michael Bouchier, but cannot confirm his *** ociation with the site, other than this quote.

Contact numbers for Credit health 011 340-6670 and 0860 201 201 both do not work and the site is very unstable, (www.***) except of course for the credit card transactions which still worked on 28/06/2007.

Do not be *** ered, do not do online transactions on this site!
