Isn't it a bit awkward when...

My wife earns double what I earn, no kidding. I take home 18k she takes home just under 40k, next year she will be pushing 45k. She also works harder.

So as a provider I don't give a ****, we can do more because she has the money. When we me she was still studying and I paid for everything, she hated that but we had to stick it out till she qualified.

I feel sorry for you if you are bothered that your woman earns more than you. Sugar mommy is the way to go.

Jeez! What does your wife do? And how old are you guys?

She is Doctor 27, i'm a programmer 30.

Her salary will start tapering off now before she specializes and mine will pick up in the next 5 years. I will never earn as much as her though, unless I open my own company.

I'm slightly underpaid but that is because of career decisions

I wish more black men would have the same attitude. This has put me off the dating game because men just make it such a huge issue.
You mean you wished more black men didn't mind that the woman earned more than them.
Easy.Just get someone who's unemployed. There's more than enough of those.

I would sit back and do the dishes (and maybe even some ironing) with a smile if my could be the "provider" and didn't need to work. And by work, I mean slowly torture my soul to death for an evil multinational company.

It would be great.

What I have noticed is there can still be some prejudice against men who are not the primary earner or, worse, are supported by their partner. This sexist attitude is most often expressed by women.

Sies!

True, funny how its the lot that burnt their bras that now look down on men for not earning more... It that not why they burned their bras?

I think if it makes people uncomfortable it’s only going to get worse. In our country women are better for BEE scores than men. (Every Race)
