I don't know if you've experienced this but with me it's becoming common for iBurst techie nerds to call me every month asking for money.

They cut off your access and call you asking for money.
They then mention either you haven't paid for a previous month (last year?)
or you have to pay the monthly installment now or else.

This started happening since my method of payment changed to direct deposit (which their system doesn't accept) It seems they now can't steal by direct debit so they're trying new scams.
Last time they cut off my access it took three calls and they couldn't explain why they did it, except they kept asking for money everytime.

I finally got the ISP association number and simply demand for the service to be re-activated since it's paid for or else I call them.
These guys need to pass their business if you ask me.

Don't subscribe to this company they're an association of cheap thieves hoodlums and gangster extortionists and sound like faggots over the phone.

Anyone else?

I hate Iburst, I would burn it down to the ground if it werent for the whole going to jail thing.
Their main office is down the road from me, if I found out I had one day to live I would go in there and go 'postal'

Im an Iburst reseller. The guys you dealing with are dumbasses for not explaining to you how this works. As you mentioned earlier. Also besides that Iburst central accounting was extremely screwed up so they themselves dont know where stuff is. Just give it some time, fail that tell them to get knotted because you heard that the accounting dept was/is in a mess and that they need to bring you paperwork.

By techie nerds you mean people in accounts who aren't technicians right?

It sounds like their normal accounts screw ups, with the gangster exstortionist bits added in. :)

As above. I've not once had a call from their accounts department, despite having done direct deposits for almost 2 years now - contract and M2M payments.

I have lodged a complaint with ICASA against IBURST and am going to issue summons against them if I do not have an answer as to why they are still debiting me when i cancelled my account. They have until tomorrow and then I am going legal. I dont care how much it costs me.

They'll probably end up having to pay your costs anyway.

I've cancelled our iBurst account for February, but someone who did the same earlier also had them try to charge her account after it was closed. Going to have to watch that.

The 4mb line should be here soon enough. :)

I'm now getting mailbox messages that they're charging my account R598.
For what? It's called THEFT.

They are so retarded that they don't know I pay by deposit.
Don't give them your banking details. This is important! NB!
I'll be cancelling iBust sometime this year.. at my own decision.

I wonder if the recorded message that they're billing my bank account can be of any use to anyone with a court case out there?
This company IS robbers inc.
I owe them nothing and I can prove it.

Cheers.

PS private me if you want proof of attempted robbery.

Hmm, their accounting department is so messed up. If i put a stop order on the payment, how long do you think it'll take them to realise and cut me off? 3 months? 6 months?

I see they're still up to their criminal actions, yet many new "suckers" signs up with them every day.

At the end of 2005 I signed a 24-month contract with Iburst for a 9-gig unshaped account. During this period I never managed to use the full 9-gigs, at all. After October 2007 when I told them to stuff the "Free" GPS unit they would give me for signing another 24-month contract, I have hit the 9 Gig cap EVERY month ! In December I had to purchase 4 additional Gigs just to keep online. This leads me to believe that there are lots of opportunities for "Manual" manipulation of internet usage at Iburst, in this case possibly by the Retentions dept, who cannot yet explain to me satisfactorily what benefits would accrue to me if I signed a 24-month contract instead of remaining on Month-to_month.

9 gig as from the website info has now become shaped like all the other packages.
so if you ordered 9 gig before this change happened (like me) on a 24 month contract, you're now screwed.

Every time I read one of these I am reminded of how glad I am, that I am no longer with iBurst.

I completely agree with your complaint - however your tone towards gay people i cannot excuse!

The use of the word faggot should be barred from this forum!. I respect the fact that there are homophobic people and their views about it on this forum, however respect should go both ways regardless of their phobias! Outright name throwing at anybody (not just gay people) should not be tolerated!
