Hi guys,

I want to start playing WOW again, will a prepaid unshaped webafrica account on 1mb line be sufficient for two persons? I want to keep my openweb account for browsing and DL and webafrica for gaming.

I only had a few lines now(512 unshaped, 512uncapped and 1024 uncapped, all Axxess), but found the unshaped 512 very capable of supporting two people levelling and dungeons. On my own I could also raid in both 10 and 25 mans without much trouble(that was early wrath, think newer raids generally use more bandwidth now making 25s very hard or disconnecting often)

Of course the biggest factor would be what you are planning on doing - levelling, dungeons, arenas, 10/25man raids or battlegrounds will all need a better connection, especially for two or more people.
 
dont worry about the unshaped package at all, normal is awesome. Im running standard webafrica on a 1mb line and raiding 25mans no problem, where my EU guildies get dc'd. latency average like 200-250ms. if you arent raiding 25mans, it should be fine for 2 people
 
So will a prepaid shaped WA work? or should I have a fixed cap account, I will keep Openweb for uncapped and use WA for gaming. Will we be able to raid 10man ?

Now that that is sorted is it worth getting 2x Blizzard Authenticator ?
 
Depends, most people think the price you pay for one in SA is too expensive, and to some degree I can agree.

I use that pc version on my 2nd account, which I couldn't bother to buy another authenticator for, my main account still has the keychain authenticator on it.

In the event you do want to backup the authenticator, you can use the one the application supply (if you trust it) or just backup the Authenticator.xml file somewhere else safe.
 
I use Axxess 4Mb uncapped and WoW works o.k. and that's with three people in the house online at the same time and shared connection with the mother-inlaw!
 
i use the free android authenticater just installed it to get the pet :P

you only type it in once, as saves your location.

you can emulate android on your pc for free should let you dl authenticater also. ( i could not get it working, stupid java crap)

I learnt the hard way with this, forgot to de-authorise when upgrading phones and was locked out of WoW for 2 weeks while I had to send details to Blizzard :)
 
hehe will see what to do then, andriod seems the way :-)

I would love a 4mb line but its to expensive(for just WOW) and where I stay with the exchange overloaded its not worth it. So 1mb here we come

I had to do a factory reset on mine and also lost my access to WoW. It only took them a few hours to remove the authenticator from my account though.

The new mobile authenticators have a restore option now.
 
Best for support is by calling Blizzard over Skype for FREE, and get your problem solved within 30minutes :) i do it all the time. I don't bother e-mailing them anymore takes to long.
