Britain’s third largest Internet Service Provider, Talk Talk, is refusing to act against music pirates following a request for offenders to be disconnected.
The UK trade body for music, the BPI, is requesting that ISPs disconnect individuals who are sharing music illegally reported the BBC.
But Charles Dunstone of Carphone Warehouse, the company behind Talk Talk, says that it is not his job to police pirates and added that the requests were unreasonable.
The BPI have said that if ISPs do not cooperate they will work with government to bring is laws to force the issue.
