ISP resetting question

Hello and happy new year etc etc.

After fighting for a few wonderful months with Telkom, I finally have my ADSL installed. As i intend to 'abuse' the service by downloading 'life' (in the words of our nemesis) i will get one of the 30gig accounts.
However, i have heard that some of the ISP's reset the connection every hour. (to protect themselves)

Is this also true for the larger cap accounts?

Disconnections would interfere with my abuse so was wondering if anyone has some advice on this.

I have a 30 gig account with allyoucaneat and my connection resets every 24hours.

Usually the resets occur more frequently as you approach your cap. Depending on your ISP, you can ask them to disable that "feature".

Sounds like the allyoucaneat account is the one to go for. From what i have read, this seems to be the best option, esp for P2P and torrents..
