Hi Guys

Is there a simpler way, of switching between ISP's? Or do i have to keep on changing the username and password in the router everytime i switch bewteen them?

Thanks

You can setup a dial in account on windows should your router support it.

You can try a dial in account.

Network and sharing center -> Setup new connection -> Connect to the internet -> Setup connection anyway (if asked) ->No, create a new connection (if asked) -> Broadband (PPPoE). Then enter your isp details

Once done you can dial it in via the little computer thing by the time.

A buddy of mine got a setup with a routerboard (mikrotik rb750). He uses it to switch between his ISP and vox uncapped bolt-on.
You can set it to change between ISP at certain times.
It's not an dedicated ADSL router but it does PPPoE sessions through the router so you obviously need a router that supports bridge mode.

is there no app, where one can easily switch between ISP's? i dont know how to set a router to Half Bridged mode, and know what that means

Most modems should allow you to back-up your config into a .bak or similar file type. I have a file for each of my accounts, and if I want to switch I just load a back-up file on my modem. A lot quicker than re-entering ADSL user details continuously. :)

Great Scott AfriGenie :D i have no idea how or where you need to go for that, or check if my modem can do that. lol Can you explain where in the Router you need to go to find this? Im just surprised, there isnt an app, where you can enter multiple ISP details, and then auto switch between them by clicking on them.

actually, maybe i should build such an app

I've just checked out the manual for your Modem, and it's pretty vague. Under the Maintenance screen, do you see any Back-up options?
