ISP's on MetroFibre

Hi All,

Pretty new to the forum, Have been lurking for a while but just recently signed up.

I currently have Metrofibre as my fibre provider and ISP and I am looking to switch my ISP to either Firestream, Cool Ideas or Rocketnet (they allow customers to use own router). I have read through the forum and have seen lots of posts around the service and customer experience offered by the ISP's but I am more interested in the International speeds of the providers.

If possible, will really appreciate it if anyone who are with these ISP's could post their experiences and the speed tests to international servers.

I will be signing up with them once fibre is brought to my flat (hopefully end of this month). Seemed to be the cheapest around and a lot of people here give good feedback.

Hi Bill, do you have specific international services that you are referring to as it's not as simple as stating "international bandwidth". For instance speedtests to 4 different providers in London yields 4 different results even though the path to the peering location is the same.

So the more specific you can be, the more accurate the answer will be .

I have a 25mb line with Firestream / Metrofibre.

I never get speeds faster than 12mb, no matter what I do or speed tests I do.
