Issue updating to iOS 10

So i was one of the few that held off on trying the beta so that I could get the new iOS 10 that came out yesterday. Trying to update my phone when the update finally showed up I got a message i need to update iTunes. I went ahead and did that. The issue is that now I cant seem to be able to update my iPhone at all. When I connect it to Mac, iTunes detects there is a new version and prompts me to update. Options being download and "download and update". Either one i choose i see a message contacting iPhone update server and then I get an error message that there was a problem downloading the software for iPhone and that "the network connection was lost" . Tried updating in windows and similar error network connection was reset. iTunes is up to date. I have tried all kinds of tips and tricks but no joy.

Updating on the iPhone itself doesnt work either as I get to "update has been requested" and thats it. The small "settings gearwheel" rotates but nothing happens. The last update i couldn't update either on my home wifi but when i got to the work wifi it updated. I do not have the luxury of an alternative wifi network at the moment and I do have enough data on my Cellc sim in the router to get the update. I even tried getting the phone specific "ipsw" files but that too doesn't work. Is it an issue with Cellc and apple servers or could it be something else. Anything I can try?
