I am running a solar system with Sunsynk Inverter and Hubble AM2 batteries. I have three rooms in the house that uses a 24 watt LED light (Eagle Lighting Ceiling Light) as per this link.
In essence, my solar system is set up to be the primary source and when required, the system will use Eskom to charge the batteries when at 25% or below. What I have noticed is that when we have load shedding (disconnected from the grid), these lights begin to "glow" (emitting low light), even though the light switch is in the off position. This is rather annoying for the late night load shedding schedules.
I am not sure if this is caused by the three step dimming feature of these units (I run them off a regular on/off light switch and do not use the dimmable feature), as all my other LED lights in the house do not exhibit this problem.
Is there a way that I can eliminate these lights from emitting low level illumination during load shedding, or would I need to replace these units (especially the ones installed in the bedrooms)?
