Hi guys, please help. I have a macbook air that was water damaged and it dried up. its working perfectly now except for sluggish response. i noticed yesterday that when i try to start face-time, it says the laptop is too hot, i should wait a while to use the application. However even when i just switched it on i get he error.

what could be the cause of this? is it something i can fix myself ?:confused::confused:

You should open it immediately and remove battery. Now it can be to late as electrolysis is in the progres. If you didn't do it before, do it now, but you will have to clean up corrosion. Washing PCB in distilled water might be neccessary.
