Heyup all you good pipple

Set up SickBeard and SAbnzbd to download Continuum.

However, I'm having issues, and tried to run a repair.

Hi,

SABnzbd has failed to download "Continuum.S01E04.VOSTFR.HDTV.XviD-GKS"

Finished at 2012-07-03 16:13:30

Results of the job:

Stage Repair
[Continuum.S01E04.VOSTFR.HDTV.XviD-GKS] Repair failed, not enough repair blocks (219 short)
Trying SFV verification
Some files failed to verify against "Continuum.S01E04.VOSTFR.HDTV.XviD-GKS.sfv"

Sorry!

Any idea on what I'm doing wrong-o?

Thanks!

Find another one to download :p

Else, go to the "incomplete" folder, and try extract it manually.

yer not doing anything wrong as far as I can see - it's your newsfeed provider - does not have all the source files required to download the whole episode

Heyup pipples

Seems I was too greedy, and set up SAnbzbd to do more than 20 connections to the Afrihost news server at a time :o No surprise in that news server blockign me :o :D

Anyways, deleted the entire Sickbeard directory, and did a reinstall as the Sickbeard DB seems to have corrupted itself somehow.

So, now I've got some good news :

 :)

Thanks for the assistance so far, it really is appreciated :)

Also using SAB/Sick setup.

Works quite nice. Select show(s) in Sick, it sends it over to SAB, SAB downloads, and signals Sick when it's finished, and send email out.

Can't be that many, although I'm running SAB + Sickbeard + Couch Potato + Headphones and Trakt for adding movies from my phone

Yeah the initial configuration may put many people off. It's very easy once you have a good idea of how Usenet works, and a little bit of a technical mindset.

The best thing to do is to start with just Sickbeard and SAB. Once you get it to work 100%, you can add other stuff.

I have friends, who know about it, have seen how awesome it is, yet they like to still do torrents manually ect. Or use seedboxes ect. Even though Sickbeard can actually make use of torrents instead of usenet as well.

Eitherway, love my SAB+SICKBEARD+COUCHPOTATO+XBMC setup.

I have SAB/Sickbeard/CP setup on my Synology NAS which in turn streams to my mede8er, IPAD, and Galaxy note.
I am able to add movies on CP & SB via the Ipad & phone.

Dunno if I will ever go back to torrents again!

I had CP v2 but it kept grabbing movies that werent on my list and when it did grab movies on my list it wouldnt remove them from my list... rather irritating.

using SAB/Sickbeard (anime branch) currently.

and nzbmatrix and newsdemon...

What do you guys use in terms of servers / search?

I do find that i am getting a few failed downloads (xx blocks missing) even if I retry they still don't complete.

Astraweb / NZBMatrix

Astraweb isn't affected by DMCA takedown notices, which could be why you're getting failed downloads.

is astraweb the only news server not affecting by this?

edit: maybe on a side note. My internet drops alot due to being so far from the exchange I have to reset the router about 10 times a day... could this cause download fails?

I again found the problem is the nzbs from nzbmatrix on other usenet servers.

When I use nzbs from nzbmatrix, they fail with missing packs. Then I go and grab a nzb from nzbs.org and boom it downloads 100%. Typically, I don't ever have problems, because I use nzbs.org as my main source for nzbs on sickbeard/couchpotato.

Too bad nzbs.org is invite only, I mostly use nzbsrus.com for it's most downloaded in the last 24h feature.

When a file has missing blocks and the pars don't fix it, I go to binsearch and grab the pars from there, then it repairs just fine.

Would love a invite to nzbs.org though *wink, wink*

Heh wish I could send out some invites, I am a huge fan and supporter of nzbs.org
