yeah there has been 3 or 4 new topics on Blizz Tech Support forum regarding this.

so it seems they should be aware of it, yet now comes the inevitable "Will they do something about it?"

i just got a reply from them ... told me to delete everything in c:\ProgramData\blizzard entertainment\ gonna try it as soon as i get home this evening

for those of you that don't have any issues, pls have a look at how big the following folder is:

C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net

would like maybe FILE COUNT and then the SIZE of that folder pls.

Mine is almost 200mb in size, will double check for you when I get home in a little while.

mine is about 169MB but most of the files is so small that 30MB can make quite a difference.

so pls also the file count.

you didn't maybe stop at "Blizzard Entertainment" and not go deeper to Battle.net?

and for those wondering why I am asking this: when I did what Deep was told to try, deleting everything in that folder, nothing ended up showing. When I restored my stuff the stuff came up, well the stuff that was working.

started to think if it was maybe due to us not having enough/right files that it does that.

Battle.net folder:
Size on disk: 193MB
2690 files, 2886 folders.

I haven't updated to the newest patch yet, but that is the size of the 1.1.1 patch. All of the files in that folder are basically just your map cache as far as I know. I had to delete my folder and manually download all the maps again in game, but after I did that, everything went smoothly. I'll update to the newest patch later tonight or tomorrow and see if I run in to a similar problem. BTW, go on xfire, I don't see you on my list at the moment

I don't think it can be the MAP cache.

the files in there are way too many and they differ way too much in size.

I wanted to post on that forum but it told me i needed a SC2 account,i tweaked around with the settings until i could post.i later played SC2 and everything was fixed.
