Issues porting to Telkom Mobile

I have been trying to get my Vodacom number ported to Telkom for the past couple of days. I have been to a Telkom store a few times now. They enter the number and I give them the pin. I then get a SMS from Vodacom informing me about the port but the porting doesn't happen. Any Telkom staffer who can help?
 
I know this might sound a bit silly,but I ported two numbers from Vodacom to MTN and the first number ported perfectly.
The second number I battled to port for days on end.I then went and checked the sms to see what time we sent the sms for doing the 1st sim's port and if I remember it was between 10 and 11am. Sent the sms the same time the following day from sim 2 and the port went through.

Maybe it was coincidence,but it worked for me personally.

Go to vodacom and check your details are correct IE name, ID number.. then go to telkom and give them the same exact details.. If anything is wrong with the spelling of your name or ID number incorrect, the porting will not happen
 
According to Telkom doesn't work over weekends. Not sure how true that is but it went through on Monday.
