Red flag guys. I ordered 2 x SSD's from them (Order 63668). After weeks and weeks waiting only 1 arrives. Very well wrapped. But only one. So I contact the Timothy the owner by email day after day but he's just ducking and diving. This looks like a back room business. Avoid!

After conducting a full investigation today, we reviewed our camera records and discovered that three orders were missed at our main warehouse, including yours. Your products have now been located, and we’ve attached a photo for your reference.

We sincerely apologize for this oversight. We can now confirm that the second half of your order will be shipped at the start of next week and should reach our office within 4-5 business days, considering the festive season delays.

The cause of this mistake has been identified, and we have taken measures to ensure it does not happen again.

Struggling to get hold of anyone; feel like I can’t get a definitive answer from Tim; ordered on 02 Dec a mobo; cpu and mem. The best response I have gotten from Tim is that he will let me know when it arrives: order #64771. Honestly just wanted a date or expected date.

Will take a drive later today and stop by when picking up drivers licence @ITworkup

Picked up the pieces at their offices; apparently had arrived and they were in process of sorting all the orders. Actually feel for the guys working there; they look swamped.
 
Ordered a 5700X3D from them to surprise my husband for his birthday.
Let's see if I get it, knowing my luck, the day I placed an order on SSS they went under. :ROFL:
Will update, but the fact that ITWorkup have a presence here should be reassuring enough to anyone else, not every company can be the size of or respond like a Pinnacle/Axis can.

Update - My 5700X3D arrived today from ITWorkup - Not complaining about the wait time, I am happy to wait 2 weeks for the price I paid.
 
Sadly a few days late, but we're not fussy like that. :D

Good to see it is a real 5700X3D and not a cheap faked CPU, just shipped in OEM tray, I paid R4240 for this CPU as opposed to R5799 from wootware - amazing what a difference consumer packaging can make in price..


He's now a happy lad & getting 144fps in everything.

TLDR - Lots of initial pain in the manual ordering process.
Prices were very competitive (best price on 6 components - CPU, GPU, PSU, Mobo, RAM, SSD).
The standard online order process has no issues and they delivered in good time over the busy Christmas period.
I would definitely purchase from IT Workup again.

28 Nov 24'

- Visited IT Workup's premises and spoke to Tim about a potential build.
- Tim asked me to send through a screenshot of the potential build and he would provide a quote. He also advised that IT Workup would assist in building the PC for me.
- I sent through the quote in the next hour and Tim responded saying the HOD will be in touch with pricing.

29 Nov 24'
- I requested feedback and was advised that they would try get it back to me on the day.

2 Dec 24'
- I requested feedback again. No response.

3 Dec 24'

- I requested feedback again.
I was advised that the warehouse was meant to send the quote but Tim said he would do it personally on the day.

- No quote was received.

5 Dec 24'
- I posted on MyBB complaining about the lack of service and was advised to send my prior mails to the IT Workup support desk.

Due to the lack of service, I chose to place an order via their website, this means that I wasn't able to get a case from IT Workup, nor was I able to take up on the promise of them completing the build for me.

6 Dec 24'
- Deposit for the order was paid.

27 Dec 24' (13 business days)
- I was advised that the order was ready for pickup.
- This was only a mere 1 day over the SLA of 5 - 12 working days and fully understandable due to the Christmas period.

3rd Jan 25'
- Order collected, everything was sealed and in great condition.
- System built and all parts work accordingly.

20 Feb 25'
- No issues experienced.

After reading this thread, ive had the confidence to try order a garmin instinct 2x solar. catch you guys in about two weeks :P
 
I've purchased from this site and even visited them, and they are very reputable. I am sure the site is down for valid reasons.

LMAO, i encountered the same problem when trying to check for updates to order.
my heart sank a little when i saw it but giving benefit of the doubt that it could be server work? :/
Tried the web address, redirected to Fenway.co.za, with a disclaimer the website has been stolen:

I would advise no one log into the new site until we have more details. I also have an outstanding order, and I am going to their office tomorrow to make sure they haven't pulled a runner or something. Will provide feedback if anyone is interested.
