Have I missed something here? iTalk was such a good company and profitable too if I remember correctly?

Their positions were probably made redundant when mtn purchased italk as they already had people doing the same jobs.

Yeah, they always or rather mostly had the best deals competing with MTN (With MTN) and new phones release to market was always ahead of MTN. There extramural packages was also always better.

As said. End of an ERA, now MTN will suck us dry even more.
