Sorry Mike, been busy and completely forgot about this. Let me check with our chairman if we still need a router. It's been hectic, as our chairman was shot at the recent land grab protests between residents and those trying to grab land.

Thanks pal... Still standing strong after 6 or so years, which is quite an achievement. Most days neighborhood watches etc fall flat after a short period of time.

Good Evenings guys
Just want to share some good news for us as an organisation. For 7 years or so, we have strived in trying circumstances to look after our community. Various challenges we were met with, but through it all we as a group stood firm. While many other structures/neighborhood watches in the Mitchell's Plain fell by the way side, we continued to dig deep to ensure we dont just become another group who fell apart.
A few weeks ago we received our official accreditation from the City, and became the 1st and thus far ONLY accredited Neighborhood watch from Mitchell's Plain. We are very proud of that. With that and at the same time as being accredited, we also received our NPO certificate, which made it double delight. So once again, if you are a business owner, or know people who might want to help us out, please contact me. I can forward an official letter now with our accreditation number etc

We basically need equipment such as 2 way radios, torches, bullet proof vests etc. We could do with our own tracksuits, tshirts etc anything basically that can help us on our patrols.

This was this years event. 1000 people we managed to feed again. Our doors are always open to any donations etc
