Hi everyone
I purchased my ipad 3 last week fri
I have only now just figured out the whole itunes and syncing thing
SO much reading

I have now stumbled across that I can not purchase games.
I had a bb playbook and loved the board games like monopoly etc and my husband had a few racing games

Now i know somebody told me that i could create a us account, is this possible. or I have read up about buying vouchers, how would this work for games in the app world if I dont have the game category at the moment

Congratulations on your purchase!!!

Yes, SA's version of the iTunes AppStore is an incredibly watered down one. Your options include creating a US iTunes account or a Kenyan iTunes account with the later accepting South African credit cards.

Here is a link on how to create a US iTunes account. Because we are unable to link and use our South African credit cards with the US Appstore we purchase iTunes vouchers from various vendors and redeem them via iTunes. Obviously you would want to pay face value for these vouchers but more often than not there is a small premium to be paid ($25 voucher usually retails for around $27-$28) and the voucher redemption code is usually emailed to the buyer.

Oh and a very warm welcome to mybroadband!!! ;)
