iTunes offers new prices

Please don't post things like this, it's US only since we can't buy itunes music. So please just don't post things that don't affect us here in SA.

You can run iTunes 7.2 on wine.. I run it, it's a little slow to browse big libraries but the store works, coverflow works for me perfectly too.

I've also asked Apple to port itunes to Linux but the odds of that happening are... :(

You can download 7.2 from oldversion.com

7.3+ could work I have not tested it but 8 is too tricky to install.

Excitedly I installed t tunes again, entered my credit card details and .... nothing, no music allowed to be downloaded in SA. Now I am not allowed to download my favourite pod casts either.
Fk itunes Im out off that bus.
 
You should actually be swearing at the record labels in this country that are blocking iTunes from launching here....

:confused: What do you want to use a proxy server for? They dont block SA users from their servers.
 
To get around the iTunes international block -- just register a paypal account and you can download all you want ;) *and pay of course*

It's technically still illegal, since the local labels aren't getting their cut.
