The new Angry Birds Star Wars 2 game is out, and I want it! Only 99 US cents...but because my account is for the US store and I have to buy vouchers to purchase apps, it's gonna cost me R130 to get a R10 game...because minimum voucher available is $10 plus fee.

I know R130 is not that much and I can use the balance to buy movies/music/other apps...but sometimes you have to stay within your budget for the month as well! And there really is not anything else I want to buy at the moment

So my options are:
- spend the R130 and use the balance to buy other stuff one day
- wait until Star Wars 2 is app of the week and free (might take a while since the game is new)

Is there any other options I might consider? Or is there anybody who wants to donate me 99 US cents from his account? :)

Or option 3: open a Kenyan account and pay with your S.African card, no need for $10 vouchers.

Just spend the R130. Count it towards your budget for the next for months

What about VCpay - virtual credit card, I have created many on SA itunes.

Thinking about using a virtual mastercard for subs to itunes match in my US account.

Why would that work? The virtual cc will still be a South African cc. So they will still block that card on your usa account. Virtual credit card "vendors" are quite strict with providing USA/UK based credit cards, you must provide proof of residence and all that.

Bugger, I tried the VC route and it need US address.

I bought some items using vcpay on my SA itunes account yesterday, when I tried to buy iTunes match it gave me an error about too many credit cards assoicated with this account.

Logged into apple store and tried to reset my credit cards but it demands a US address.

I use a prepaid visa for iTunes match. I get the prepaid card through these guys http://itunes-giftcards.com/iTunes_match.html

It's very hard to get a US address. If only someone would create an internet search engine so we could just look up a US address.

Tried that, but gave me errors.

I used an address in LA and it gave an error about the bank and its not the listed address so gave up.
