one sms read "i love all the stars in the sky, but they are nothing compared to the ones that are in your eyes" i think that was theee msg except for the usual cliches, i miss you a lot type of thing. I agree that the boyfriend might be her creation since her boyfriend dumped her recently for another girl at varsity and said she doesnt want to date anyone from campus anymore. that does nt apply to me since i just got my results, i have completed my degree. im sooo confused, if i give up she might just think it was just a crush, if i persist, i might get hurt further
 
Dude get over it. Seariously its not worth it. Crushes/infatuations are the most irrational things ever. When you have one you think that nobody else except that person is right for you. Its an hormonal illusion I've also been through a few times. If she said NO she means it. If you pursue her you will just make her uncomfortable and feed the stereotype that men can't just be friends with a woman unless they're ugly or an ex.

What bugs you most is how your Ego has been crushed by the rejection and so its natural that you want to think she is into even though she said that she is not. Don't take it too personally. **** happens! Lotsa fish in da sea.
 
Dude bottom line she's just not into you and she wont ever be. Move on before you become irritating and she cuts off the friendship for good.

Sorry if it sounds harsh but it's frustrating to see people hang onto things that will just never progress.

Wtf would you want to stay friends with her when she's obviously going to use you as a chat buddy to unleash all her emotional crap on? The question you have to ask is what benefit are you going to receive from the keeping friendship. What can she offer you that your other buddies can't?
 
You don't love this girl....you're temporarily infatuated with her and frustrated because she's rejecting you which makes you inflate the magnitude of your feelings for her. Conversely she thinks your playa mxit chatroom act is ludicrous and frankly she would never dream of going out with you.
 
I don't believe in chasing a girl. Its either you like me or you don't. If its a maybe now just imagine 3 years + down the line. There will be no spark.

Exactly. That's what you do in high-school because you have not developed the ability to handle relationships on a mature level. That comes with time.

On a more serious note. That's not flirting. That's more of a "I miss you please will you miss me too" type behavior. Complimenting a woman is NOT flirting. It's complimenting. I fear you confuse those two words.

Unfortunately, complimenting a woman into submission doesn't work.

I refer back to my previous posts. Also, search on MyBB for some of my literature regarding women and picking them up/getting them to feel attracted to you.

If you're good looking you don't necesarily have game, so please don't even come with something like that. I'm overweight and score more than you do. And no, I do not count alchohol induced states of "oh well he's the only one left"

If he can barely speak english I doubt he knows afrikaans. And I doubt he had sex with her otherwise there might be some kind of confidence from him, the self-proclaimed playa, that won't have had this answer thrown back in his face.

if I slept with her and I received that answer I would have gone, "No I meant friends with benefits. You're great and everything but I don't see me as your BOYFRIEND... silly girl"
