hmmm....now lets see. I have a pretty stable ADSL 4meg connection installed 2 days from application. I quite often get 420kbs downloads, I get double digit 10GB + data download each month when I only signed for 3GB. I'm pretty happy....just wait too long when I phone them is all!

From what I've heard from others here, methinks I'm a happy camper for now. I suppose its different for some folk

just capped at 2.01GB (cap is 2G on 384kbs line)...bummer
seem to happen regularly around 21-24 of the month
reseting the modem did not work for me
Telkom top up expires end of each month..so no addedd value if gigs not used before end of month (i.e. in 10 days use up 1G)

Yeah - its a particularly useless solution offered by telkom - rather buy a pre-paid gb (from Axxess) that wont expire. That way you can continues using it when the end of Jan rolls by and you find yourself capped again.

Does axxess gigs allow unlimited local surfing or is this package inclusive of everything till used up?

Would be great if one could switch (automagically) from international (paid-up service) to local (telkom local) on the fly (without having to setup modems each time? Is this possible?
