Ivy fails yet again

On the tables, the grade of H, specifically designed to grade her in this case. Who said we are not accommodating:D

This minister, like all other ministers, will never make decisions on their own ... they always use consultants/advisors ... people that more than likely use this site/forum (there's no better place to go locally for telecoms matters). My question then obviously is ... who are these people? Could there be vested interests in the advice being given ... steering the local industry into specific personally beneficial directions?

I'm just wondering.

The "F" grading must then also go to the consultants/advisors who may be reading this post right now.

Too bad she can't be jailed for her incompetence

I wonder if she has noticed yet that she is not really all that popular? Or maybe in the circles she moves in she is praised for her "firm hand" at the steering wheel.

Its that severance package...the longer she stays in the bigger it gets

Is the communications policy vacuum a product of her ineptitude, or does it suit the government to continue with the failed policy of ‘managed liberalisation’, which allows it to rake in money from its investments in the major telecoms players?

This is a rhetorical question, right?

It's surprising seeing that the Mail & Guardian isn't really pro-White Afrikaner conservatism.

But of course the the opinion of a major publication regarding the affairs of state is very much irrelevant. Because what do the populous know. The tribal chief (Ivy) has spoken and no dissent will be tolerated.

If you consider that next to the arms deal, Telkom and its dancing elephants have been a major source of revenue, how can they not like the rainmaker - It is amazing how many times you see people spending millions getting advice, all the meetings, even public debate... and then fly off down the wrong path - excuse building and butt covering of the highest order - Just wastes everyones time and money - also a thankless task trying to do anything about it

IMO Poison Ivy is oblivious to how unpopular [hated] she really is - she surrounds herself with arse kissers [horse flies], and they make sure that Poison Ivy never hears or sees anything negative about herself.

Explain that to me - slowly - I'm not seeing the relevance - same as Tux's post about Poison Ivy and AK-C fornicating with one another - everyone knows that it would be a cold day in hell when Poison Ivy accepts advances from anyone that is not female, with the possible exception of cellphone sex.

I should have explained that there was a strong element of cynicism in my post. Even sarcasm ... no wait ... I were serious about what I said. She (like other actors in the ANC arena) acts like political "strong men". Negative sentiments doesn't affect them because they don't allow it to affect them. They have built structrures around them similar to what have existed for centures around them of absolute power that accepts NO critisism.
