It's difficult to mark out the S African digital communications field against a global template as in other markets the public sector doesn't have that much leverage. Still though, when incumbents like "Altech AutoCRAP" cry the consumer wins blee blee blah blah - they're lying through their cracks.

The bottom line is doesn't have the cash to foot the legal bill nor deploy the network against a frequency and Ivy has the benefit of swaying the law to her whim and fancy and government is backing her. Watch and learn people (didn't intend to sound patronizing).

As I understand this is not really a loss in the usual sense. The application was brought to stop ICASA and Altech forging ahead pending the Leave to Appeal decision. With that application not being granted the dismissal of this action was purely academic and automatic.
