I would love to go but doing Fatboy Slim on the 12th and Limp Bizkit on the 13th. 14th is my wife's bday.

Don't think I can do 3 days of partying without my wife being seriously pissed off, net alone on her bday.

Plus that is center of town in jhb, good chance of things getting out of control with cellphone snatchers, fake ubers, armed robberies etc.....but jeesh Jack White is cool

That said, also, who the F cares, the point is to go and see one of the greats, perform live, for a select crowd at an amazing venue. Concerts in the park at Kirstenbosch are always special, but this one is going to be absolutely epic

How much do similar international artists normally charge for a show, last I remember it was in the R700 range?
Price gouging for live events is the done thing these days, some greedy little goblins started dynamic pricing and realised they could ramp up the prices to unheard of levels and now everyone has cottoned on
