I doubt you were even that affected by the holocaust. I'm guessing you're Jewish from Lithuanian descent, 1 or 2 generations back one of your ancestors fled to SA to escape the War and you landed up in SA, as about 80% of the Jewish population here has. These Jews here have had relatively privileged lives down here in SA.

Now, to claim that the holocaust has had a direct influence on your life as apartheid has had blacks here in SA simply disgusts me, unless you actually experienced the holocaust first-hand, and I'm not talking about getting told horror stories from a relative, I will henceforth hold you in utter disdain.

Well, at least slightly more disdain than I already do after reading your ignorant racist views. You may think that you're playing fair in this discussion, but some of the things you say are so out of line I'm assuming they must be said out of some kind of subconscious prejudice you are unaware of.

I think what would be best for this thread is if all parties concerned would state their views, I think you all have lost sight about what you're arguing over, because I can see that all of you have reason. What is happening is that both sides are misinterpreting and assuming things by reading between the lines (even if there is no subtext) and playing off these notions.

Angello has very well-reasoned opinions, if he were to state his overall view, I'm sure kingmonty and craigsa would be able to come to some kind of agreement if they'd be willing to look at them with an open mind.

Angello is not a racist, the only people playing the 'race card' have been craigsa, ajax and kingmonty. By playing the 'race card' I mean mostly assuming angello's views based on his race, which I was not even aware of. I became aware of angello's race purely out of the assumed views of other posters on this thread. I thought to myself, "The only reason people would be saying these kind of things to Angello is if he were Black."

You guys have been assuming that everything to do with black government Angello wholeheartedly supports just because he's black, I've never heard of anything so narrow-minded and pathetic! You call the ANC 'your party' to Angello, he never even really condoned anything by the ANC or even tried to defend them.

It seems to me you all are trying to target Angello and just dump all of your disappointments with the current black government on him, JUST BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. Surely you can see what's wrong with this?

I wish I can be in a forum with people like you (and I know there are many and they just don't bother posting here) where I can also raise my dissapointments with the current leadership without getting the "it's your government!" line.

Concerning the line in red, it does not only apply to Craigsa only but to many on this forum, I couldn't quite articulate it as well as you did and I said something like "it's either you don't get it or you'll never get it" referring to somebody crying murder over a particular government policy.

It's very ironic that I've never stated my race or background but I've been ruthlessly and unfairly attacked based on the assumption of those factors, some people forget that you don't have to be a certain color to be objective which is why we have all kinds of races in certain political parties.

Well at least you had the courage to call Craig a racist, I couldn't even if I thought he was because of the backlash I would be subjected to. Ajak has been used as a very convenient scape goat by those with deep-seated prejudices just becasue he is open and honest about his hate politics and I suspect he is a particular creed which doesn't coat its feelings with rotten honey.

The holocaust by the way, made appartheid look like a joke. That is a fact. What i was saying (if you bothered to read my post) is that the black South Africa continue to blame appartheid for everything including the weather, its time to get on with it.....

Where did you read this ? On the web? Priveleged ? Yeah , we worked damn hard here to get what we have. Just remember - appartheid gvt hated jews, that is a fact.
