Looking at the way he was chosen at Polokwane I would tend to agree. It was a circus and IMO the Country will be run like that when Tbone has left. So regardless of who can speak what language well I am more concerned about our future. The Current exdom fup is just the tip of the iceberg waiting to overturn. Many parastatals are going to start falling apart, as the lack of good management and maintenance procedures are going to start surfacing.

I'm over arguing but I do feel I need to respond here. I am not suggesting innocence but I am suggesting not murdering the rapist just to alleviate your anger until it has been proven beyond a doubt that he is guilty.

Let me turn your emotional argument around. Your brother is accused of rape. The victim's husband or father kills your brother before he has a chance to go to trial. Fair or not? :rolleyes:

If I know he did it then yes he deserves it. You think because a court gives its stamp of approval then it is ok? Based on one judge/ magistrate? Please man.

I have personally interviewed JZ on about 5 occasions. He is a really nice guy on one on one conversation, but gets very brave when his other cronies and bodyguards are around. As many people will realise, he tends to tell people what they want to hear. I think his meetings with the Freedom Front and his stance on crime in front of them bear testament to that. My hope is that he can make his own decisions in time as I think his personal outlook is far better than his ANC puppetry.

Nobody said he wasn't a nice guy, if not entirely sensible, but its his leadership ability thats being called into question. Thats the real test.
 
Would it have been so bad to make a speech in Zulu, with English subtitles?

I think he should go for some public speaking training. Wouldn't hurt at all.
 
i just think that they have to learn a thing or two from Trevor Manuel.his speeches are also done by professionals but he knows how to keep people listening by throwing a joke or two in between the sentences.

it's not about the language or anything-it's about personality and the love of what you do.
