It is a weird reason which would not make sense in a personal capacity for a person.

I mean, being a consultant and there to "give advise" is actually a dream job.
You can use your years of experience and give advise on how to do things. If those you give the advise to doesn't listen to you, then so what? It is their responsibility. You get paid regardless according to the contract you signed.

It would be a nice "bonus" to his probably already massive pension payout.
So on a personal level it would have made sense to see the entire contract out.

Unless he is not really willing to divulge what happened.

So if a company wants to deliver a service/product, why should it not need to have all the expertise in house to deliver that service to the public, not for free that is, properly and safely-??
