Anybody ever used this product? Just called a friend in the USA through a local number dont know if I'm gonna charged local or international rates.

Seems interesting, ZA is listed on the connected countries - weird to say the least.

Edit: the 100 jax, equating to 25 minutes to a landline will be quite limiting - still an interesting service

Interesting

I have just signed up and when I try to call myself from the web, it gives me an 011 number to call in future - i.e. I and others can call my cell at Joburg landline rates... So far I haven't spent a cent on jax. It seems 100 minutes a month are included.

I assume this also means skypeout can be used to call my cellphone at landline skype rates, etc.

Yeah, SkypeOut should work, nothing special about the number as far as Skype is concerned.

100 minutes, not quite; those are jaxt. Each destination has a jax/min.
ZA Cell phone is 16jax/min, therefore 6 minutes free, landline is 4jax/min, therefore 25 minutes free.

Thanks, tried Jaxtr, works well on land line numbers. One cannot buy any further points once 100 jax are consumed.
